Our collection of chandeliers and pendants have been lighting up Mare Street Market since its opening in 2018.
Established by Marc Francis-Baum, founder of Barworks, Mare Street Market is in London’s East End and has become the go-to eatery for London Fields residents and visitors. The venue perfectly represents this quirky, vibrant part of London and includes several local businesses under one roof. From the amazing florists Rebel Rebel, to record store Stranger Than Paradise Records.
Marc had previously sourced lighting from the Pure White Lines Hackney Road showroom for other projects and his own home, so naturally we were his first port of call when planning the lighting scheme for Mare Street Market. For the Dining Room Marc and his team were looking for something impactful, memorable and Instagramable, what better than a serious number of huge chandeliers!
This showcase of our largest lighting pieces consists of some of our amazing Murano glass chandeliers, huge reproduction globe pendants and some of our favourite vintage finds. The Dining Room also houses a display of our antique furniture, decorative statues and busts, essentially it’s an immersive Pure White Lines experience!
More Pure White Lines lighting can be found in the market’s Deli area and throughout the other dining sections. An array of our Parisian Globe pendant lights, inspired by the mid-century street lights of Paris, can be seen throughout the entire market along with a pair of our Byron lanterns in the entranceway.
Above the bar are four vintage Art Deco style pendants, sourced by Matt for Mare Street Market.
You can visit our lighting display during opening hours at 117 Mare Street, Hackney, London E8 4RU.
